Release/Change Management
Overview:
Client required an individual who could manage portion of an application portfolio while interacting with users, business partners, and IT partners. The required position was multi-faceted, requiring a wide range of different skill sets, including application management, performance evaluations, and providing training.
The Problem:
Client lacked the internal resources to manage the current application portfolio. Internal resources did not have the technical knowledge or background necessary to not only manage the client technology environment, but to also interact with system users or internal/external partners. Without the proper personnel in place, certain functions were not adequately addressed, if addressed at all, including system troubleshooting, upgrading, user training, etc.
The Solution:
Astir was tasked with several different responsibilities. These responsibilities included the management of a 150+ applications portfolio, enterprise wide support for those applications, providing impact analysis, release and change management for those applications, and provide analysis, performance assessments and training to stakeholders.
Client Benefits:
Astir IT managed the client portfolio of busines applications and executed performance analytics and provided training to others within the client organization. Astir was tasked with taking complete ownership of this portfolio, and overall client satisfaction was very high."
